Position: Inclusion Learning Support Assistant
JESS Arabian Ranches Primary School is seeking an Inclusion Learning Support Assistant for August 2026.
The role will briefly include:
- Participating in planning, assessment, supporting individual or small groups of students in their teaching and learning, evaluation and record keeping
- Helping individual or small groups of students to learn effectively to support learning
- Providing observational feedback to Oasis Team, class teacher and/or year group leader
- Having a good rapport with children between ages 4-11 years
- Assisting class teachers in the development and delivery of provision
- Covering for inclusion teachers in their absence, as required
- Attending relevant CPD
- Carrying out other duties relevant to the role, including school trips
The successful applicants will:
- Hold as a minimum a High School Diploma. A CACHE Level 3 qualification or equivalent would be desirable
- Have relevant and recent school-based SEN experience within the classroom
- Have a good rapport with students
- Have high expectations of students' attainment and behaviour
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Be comfortable taking direction from class teacher(s) and senior staff
- Uphold safeguarding and child protection
- Be keen, self-motivated and flexible
- Be enthusiastic and enjoy contact with children
- Encourage individual development and progress
