Key Responsibilities

Indoor Sales (approx. 50%)

• Respond to incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and website enquiry forms in a timely and professional manner

• Prepare and issue price quotations, proforma invoices, and sales orders

• Follow up on outstanding quotations and support the outdoor/field sales team in closing deals

• Liaise with principals and suppliers to check stock availability, lead times, and pricing

• Maintain and update customer records and sales data in the CRM system

• Coordinate order processing with thelogistics/operations team to ensure timely delivery

• Assist with preparing tender and bid documentation asrequired

Marketing (approx. 50%)

• Assist in maintaining and updating website content, including product pages and SEO-related keyword and copy updates

• Support email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and customer communications

• Manage and schedule content across social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn)

• Assist with planning and coordinating trade shows, exhibitions, and product launch events

• Prepare marketing collateral such as brochures, product flyers, and presentation materials

• Track and report on basic marketing metrics (website traffic, campaign engagement, enquiry sources)

• Coordinate with principals and suppliers for marketing materials, product images, and promotional support

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Science, or a related field; fresh graduates are welcome to apply

• 0–2 years of relevant experience; prior exposure to sales, marketing, or the scientific/laboratory industry is an advantage but not required

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with CRM tools, website CMS platforms, or social media management is a plus

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

• A proactive, eager-to-learn attitude with genuine interest in the scientific and analytical instrumentation industry

• Good interpersonal skills and a customer-service mindset
