Infrastructure Engineer, Blockchain

Build out Tempo's infrastructure stack, maintain chain and validator reliability, eliminate DevOps bottlenecks, improve developer experience, and help enterprises run validators.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage infrastructure that enables the engineering team to ship quickly and effectively.
• Identify and eliminate DevOps bottlenecks to improve developer velocity.
• Maintain Tempo chain reliability, validator infrastructure, and explorer reliability.
• Improve Tempo core developer experience.
• Help onboard enterprises into crypto and educate them on running validators.
• Work at the frontier of crypto performance.

Requirements

• Experience maintaining and scaling bare metal servers and cloud environments for production systems.
• Proficiency building tooling and scripts using Rust, Go, or Python.
• Deep expertise deploying Kubernetes in production and using Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD, and related infrastructure-as-code and configuration-management tools.
• Experience deploying monitoring, alerting, and observability systems such as Prometheus and Grafana, including securing, hardening, and troubleshooting them.
• Knowledge of Linux and networking, including troubleshooting Linux systems.
• Familiarity with blockchain infrastructure, particularly the Ethereum ecosystem.
