SUMMARY
The Inspection Sales Manager leads a small, high-energy team responsible for recruiting and onboarding qualified property inspectors in targeted coverage areas. This is a sales leadership role: you'll coach a team of entry-level recruiters (similar to BDRs), manage a pipeline of prospective inspectors, and be directly accountable for closing coverage gaps identified by the recruiting and operations teams. You'll report on team performance, refine the outreach strategy, and work cross-functionally with Recruiting, Operations, and Client Success to ensure the right inspectors are active in the right markets.
This role suits someone who thinks like a sales manager — comfortable with pipeline metrics, quota-driven coaching, and turning "we have a gap in this region" into a concrete recruiting plan.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage, coach, and hold accountable a team of Inspection Team Account Executives
- Set weekly/monthly recruiting targets by geographic area based on inspector coverage gaps
- Partner with the broader Recruiting team to identify low-inspector-density regions and build outreach plans to fill them
- Track team pipeline (prospects contacted, interviewed, onboarded, first accepted file) and report performance to leadership
- Review and approve inspector applications escalated by the team; make final go/no-go calls on close judgment calls
- Run regular 1:1s and team meetings; provide ongoing coaching on outreach technique, objection handling, and closing
- Own onboarding process improvements — ensure new inspectors are fully set up in Land Gorilla's proprietary software and ready to accept files
- Analyze commission/incentive effectiveness and recommend adjustments to leadership
- Escalation point for vendor/inspector issues the team can't resolve independently
- Ensure the team follows all company protocols, quality standards, and service level agreements
- Maintain a positive vendor experience throughout the recruiting funnel
