A leading financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join a major banking transformation program. The role will be responsible for designing engaging, practical learning content that supports the adoption of new processes, systems and ways of working across the organisation.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts and transformation teams to understand learning needs and translate complex information into clear, user-friendly training materials.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and develop learning materials across digital and instructor-led formats
  • Work with SMEs and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business processes into effective learning content
  • Develop training guides, e-learning, presentations, job aids and other supporting materials
  • Ensure learning content aligns with the broader transformation and change strategy
  • Support training needs analysis and identify opportunities to improve learner engagement
  • Work across a complex banking environment with multiple stakeholder groups


About the candidate:

  • Proven experience as an Instructional Designer, Learning Designer or similar
  • Experience working on large-scale transformation or technology programs
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Excellent ability to simplify complex processes and information
  • Experience developing a range of learning and training materials
  • Financial services or banking experience is highly desirable
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, complex transformation environment
