Integration Analyst — Azure
Summary
Integration Analyst leading requirements elicitation, end-to-end data flow definition, source-to-target mapping, and API specification validation for a large Azure integration programme. Hands-on with Azure Logic Apps/API Management, Postman, JSON/XML, REST/SOAP, and OpenAPI/Swagger across SIT/UAT.
Salary: $550 - $800 per day, super inclusive
Our client is one of Australia's most recognised enterprises, running a large and complex technology environment. They have an immediate need for an Integration Analyst, based in Melbourne's north-west, on a hybrid 6-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension.
The role
This is integration analysis, not integration build. You will lead requirements elicitation with business and technical stakeholders, define end-to-end data flows, produce source-to-target mappings and validate API specifications, then support SIT/UAT through to defect resolution. The artefacts you produce go to the developer — you define what gets built.
The work sits across a continuous pipeline of integration change, with a large Azure programme starting shortly.
What you'll need to succeed;
5–6 years hands-on in integration specifically — depth in this stack, not a generalist background
Azure Logic Apps or Azure API Management, used hands-on
Postman — personally used to test and validate APIs
JSON/XML schemas — validated and interpreted hands-on
REST/SOAP APIs — can explain methods including POST from your own work
OpenAPI/Swagger — used to define or validate specifications
Source-to-target mapping and transformation logic
SIT/UAT, defect logging and integration testing
MuleSoft or SQL (advantageous)
Suitably skilled candidates are encouraged to apply with an achievement-based CV.
