Integration / Implementation Manager

Manage a team of engineers focused on customer success while overseeing technical implementation activities, integration projects, Agile practices, customer relationships, software delivery quality, training, and enterprise integration code.

Responsibilities

• Manage the priorities, deliverables, and activities of a team of engineers focused on customer success
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality integrations and solutions
• Serve as a Scrum Master, facilitating Agile practices, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Oversee technical implementation activities and leadership reporting
• Partner with customer success teams to identify and resolve technical challenges
• Develop and enforce software delivery best practices, including testing, documentation, specifications, and peer code reviews
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers and the team
• Manage customer relationships and minimize escalations
• Plan knowledge-sharing sessions, training, and enablement
• Ensure smooth project execution across geographically distributed teams
• Contribute to internal process improvements using customer insights
• Respond to urgent customer inquiries and high-priority issues
• Write secure, efficient, enterprise-quality integration code
• Oversee peer code reviews for quality assurance

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience
• Ability to manage a cross-region remote team
• Experience with workforce management, payroll, or other HR technology is highly desirable
• Ability to support multiple customers and travel to customer locations as required
• Consulting experience is desirable
• Experience with HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, SOAP, REST, and JDBC
• Java/J2EE, SQL, and MySQL experience preferred
• Understanding of Workato, Dell Boomi, Jitterbit, or SnapLogic
• Strong experience with Java/RESTful web services
• Exposure to Jira, GitHub, and Jenkins
• Exposure to SQL reporting and analytics with MySQL, Snowflake, or Looker
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant STEM field
