Interior Architect / Site Project Lead

Job Overview

We are seeking a versatile, highly organized Interior Architect who can seamlessly bridge design, site management, and client coordination. In this role, you will lead interior fit-out projects from concept through site execution. You will be responsible for refining design details, managing daily site operations, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, and serving as the primary point of contact for clients to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and to high design standards.

A strong technical background in interior architecture, practical site supervision experience, proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit, and a valid UAE driving license are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Technical Coordination

• Develop, review, and refine interior architectural layouts, detailed working drawings, and joinery details using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Translate client requirements and design concepts into practical, buildable site drawings.
• Coordinate between interior design, estimation, procurement, and joinery production teams to ensure design intent aligns with materials and budget.

Site Management & Execution

• Oversee day-to-day site progress, managing MEP contractors, joinery teams, sub-consultants, and site workers.
• Monitor timelines, deliverables, and quality standards on site, proactively highlighting and resolving technical issues or site delays.
• Ensure safety standards, building codes, and project specifications are strictly adhered to during execution.

Client & Stakeholder Communication

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, leading site meetings, presenting progress updates, and managing client expectations.
• Serve as the communication bridge between internal management, clients, site teams, and local approval authorities.
• Prepare and distribute site progress reports, meeting minutes, and project schedules to clients and executive leadership.

Project Administration

• Track project timelines, variations, approvals, and key deliverables.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including approved shop drawings, material samples, RFIs, and site reports.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture, Architecture, or Interior Design.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in interior fit-out projects, encompassing both technical detailing and site supervision.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); working knowledge of Revit and 3D visualization software is a strong advantage.
• Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory) to travel frequently between office, client meetings, and project sites.
• Proven experience in managing site teams, subcontractors, and client relations.
• Deep understanding of interior construction details, joinery production, and material selection.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project scheduling tools.
• Outstanding spoken and written English communication skills; strong leadership and conflict-resolution abilities.
