Interior Designer / Drafter

Job Summary

Interpret interior and carpentry drawings and prepare detailed drawings using AUTOCAD and SKETCHUP. Coordinate material specifications and dimensions with subcontractors and carpenters to ensure accurate site construction and fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Interpret interior and carpentry drawings to guide construction and fabrication
• Prepare detailed drawings using AUTOCAD and SKETCHUP to support project execution
• Verify material specifications and dimensions to ensure accuracy and scale compliance
• Coordinate with subcontractors on site construction requirements and with carpenters on fabrication details
• Perform additional advocacy duties as assigned to support project goals

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or higher in interior design, civil engineering, or related fields
• Minimum 3 years of experience in interior fit-out works, furnishing, or renovation projects
• Proficiency in AUTOCAD, SKETCH, and rendering software to produce accurate design outputs
• Demonstrated self-motivation, responsibility, enthusiasm, and strong work ethic
• Ability to collaborate effectively as a team player
