Interior Designer (Premium Office Space)
Summary
Interior Designer role focused on premium office/workspace design: develop creative concepts, prepare floor plans and 3D renderings, select materials, and coordinate with clients, contractors and architects to deliver projects on time and within budget. Day-to-day tools include AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with clients/consultants to understand their vision and requirements for workspace design.
• Develop creative and functional design concepts tailored to client needs and current trends.
• Prepare detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings for presentation to clients.
• Select appropriate materials, furnishings, and colour palettes to enhance workspace aesthetics.
• Oversee project timelines and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of design solutions.
• Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure smooth project execution.
• Stay updated on industry trends, sustainable design practices, and emerging technologies in workspace design.
Requirements:
• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Interior Designer, preferably with a focus on workspace environments
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous workplace design projects and creative solutions
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design ideas to clients and team members
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Attention to detail and a strong understanding of space planning and functionality.
