Intermediate Software Engineer - Fullstack
The role contributes across the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, deployment, production support, engineering practices, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain front-end and back-end web application components.
- Deliver medium-to-large features independently while collaborating with senior engineers.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and third-party integrations.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Optimize application performance and reliability.
- Deploy and maintain applications on AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Apply security, reliability, and performance best practices.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and engineering leads.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Support and mentor junior engineers.
- Contribute to technical documentation and engineering standards.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in full-stack software development.
- Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, Node.js, and Python.
- Familiarity with Go or willingness to learn Go-based services.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and third-party integrations.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL and familiarity with MongoDB.
- Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Understanding of software design, application security, and performance optimization.
- Experience using Git and modern version control workflows.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate within cross-functional Agile teams.
- Familiarity with Scrum or Kanban.
