Internship - Supply Chain Data Scientist

The student, as part of the Advanced and Visual Analytics (AVA) team and under the guidance of an assigned mentor, will undertake projects working on Agentic AI and Gen-AI projects.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Agentic AI Development: Design and develop agentic AI applications leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), multi-agent frameworks, and orchestration platforms.
  • AI Agent Engineering: Build, test, and optimize AI agents capable of autonomous reasoning, planning, tool usage, and task execution.
  • Systems Integration: Integrate AI agents with enterprise systems, APIs, databases, and business workflows to enable real-world use cases.
  • Cross-Functional Prototyping: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype innovative AI solutions and validate business value through proof-of-concepts.
  • Technology Evaluation: Evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and best practices to continuously improve agent performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and presentations of developed solutions.

Internship Learning Outcomes:

  • LLM Application Development: Gain hands-on experience in building applications using LLMs, multi-agent systems, and orchestration platforms.
  • AI Agent Optimization: Develop practical skills in testing, tuning, and improving autonomous AI agents for complex tasks.
  • Enterprise Integration Exposure: Learn how to connect AI solutions with enterprise systems, APIs, databases, and workflows.
  • Proof-of-Concept Development: Strengthen the ability to prototype, validate, and communicate AI solution value in business settings.
  • Emerging AI Knowledge: Gain exposure to current AI technologies, frameworks, and best practices in agentic AI development.


Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

  • Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Programming Skills: Strong programming foundations, ideally with experience in Python or similar languages.
  • AI/ML Knowledge: Familiarity with LLMs, agent frameworks, or machine learning concepts is an advantage.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical thinking with the ability to design practical and scalable solutions.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical ideas clearly.
  • Preferred Intake: Jan 27 – May/June 27
