This position will be supporting our stores team withing the material control group.
This role would join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. Our domain provides rewarding work that contributes to the latest advancements being made in the space manufacturing industry.
Material Control personnel are responsible for a variety of processes. Their workload is provided by the various roles of planning team.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Inventory Material Control Support 1
This position demands strong attention to detail and will provide support to our stores team.
Duties may include but are not limited to the following:
Process and pick material for manufacturing orders
All materials sent to the production floor must be counted and verified. Some items will require hand counting, while others will be counted using a counting scale.
Kit Auditing to ensure all counts are accurate prior to release to production.
Staging material via pallet jack to move heavier items.
Record time spent on each project.
Process account transfers. (material will remain in stock until issue request is submitted)
Perform cycle counts at the beginning of the shift.
Access material from higher locations by using a ladder or elevating work platform. (training required)
Deliver small priority requests via low-speed vehicle. (training required)

Basic Qualifications:
Must be a US citizen and have a High School diploma with at least 1 year experience in a stockroom/warehouse environment.
Candidate must be able to work independently or collaboratively as a team to meet deadlines.
Must have a Valid driver’s license
Must be able to lift 25 lbs. by hand.
Must be able to work overtime.
Able to organize tasks and time to ensure the timely completion of all projects.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and multi-task.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with logistics/warehouse.
Experience working in the aerospace industry.
Experience working under the safety and security requirements of a secure government facility.
Experience with Deltek Costpoint
Experience using Cognos Analytics software.
