Investment Analyst
Research public companies and listed assets across frontier sectors, build forecasts and valuation analyses, maintain a portfolio or watchlist, and translate investment research into high-volume X and other media content.
Responsibilities
- Research public companies from the bottom up, including business models, segments, revenue drivers, margins, competitive position, valuation, and market expectations
- Build defensible revenue forecasts and scenario analyses
- Read filings, earnings transcripts, investor presentations, research, industry data, and primary sources
- Track catalysts, guidance changes, capex cycles, product launches, regulatory shifts, and supply and demand bottlenecks
- Maintain a portfolio and watchlist with investment views, position sizing, time horizons, risk levels, and thesis status
- Update investment picks when facts change and communicate upside, downside, pricing, and monitoring factors
- Produce roughly 10 high-quality X posts per day
- Create analyst-grade X threads with hooks, numbers, charts or visuals, reasoning, and investor takeaways
- Adapt research and models into Milk Road PRO, newsletter, podcast, video, and other distribution formats
Requirements
- Read 10-K filings and parse earnings calls
- Understand revenue drivers and build forecasts
- Have strong interest or coverage depth in AI, semiconductors, robotics, space, biotech, infrastructure, or other frontier sectors
- Write clear investor-focused analysis
- Use systems, watchlists, models, and AI workflows to operate at speed
- Use AI responsibly for source discovery, synthesis, modeling support, editing, and pressure-testing
