What you’ll lead & influence:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality iOS applications aligned with business goals and user needs
- Integrate mobile applications with backend systems and third-party services via RESTful APIs
- Contribute to technical design, solution planning, and delivery of scalable mobile solutions
- Champion mobile security best practices, ensuring compliance and data integrity
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines to optimise mobile release processes and deployment efficiency
- Monitor app performance, analytics, and crash reports to ensure stability and reliability
- Participate in incident management and troubleshooting production issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, engineers, and product stakeholders
- 5+ years of software development experience, including at least 3 years building iOS apps with Swift
- Proven experience delivering and publishing applications to the Apple App Store
- Strong expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and MVVM architecture
- Experience integrating APIs and working with backend services
- Solid understanding of iOS Human Interface Guidelines and mobile UX best practices
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile delivery environments
- Strong debugging, performance optimisation, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of mobile security, encryption, and secure storage principles
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Willingness to participate in a rotational on-call support roster
- Experience with Firebase, Splunk, or similar observability tools
- Exposure to cross-platform frameworks (e.g., Flutter, React Native)
- Experience in financial services or regulated environments
- Familiarity with Apple ecosystem integrations (e.g., Apple Pay)
