Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled iOS Developer with 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade mobile applications for Apple devices. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Swift, Objective-C, iOS SDK, UIKit, SwiftUI, and mobile application architecture. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure mobile solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain native iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.
- Build reusable and maintainable code for scalable mobile solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, architects, and backend teams to define and implement new features.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, and cloud services.
- Optimize application performance, memory usage, and battery efficiency.
- Implement secure coding practices and mobile security standards.
- Write unit tests, UI tests, and participate in code reviews.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and application defects.
- Publish and maintain applications on the Apple App Store.
- Stay updated with emerging iOS technologies and best practices.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in iOS application development.
- Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.
- Hands-on experience with UIKit, SwiftUI, Auto Layout, and Xcode.
- Strong understanding of iOS SDK, application lifecycle, and design patterns (MVC, MVVM, VIPER).
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON parsing, and network frameworks (URLSession, Alamofire).
- Knowledge of Core Data, SQLite, Realm, and local data storage mechanisms.
- Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as XCTest.
- Understanding of mobile security, authentication mechanisms, OAuth, JWT, and Keychain.
- Experience in app deployment through Apple App Store.
- Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SwiftUI and Combine framework.
- Knowledge of Firebase, Crashlytics, Analytics, and Push Notifications.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience integrating payment gateways, maps, and location-based services.
- Knowledge of React Native or Flutter is an added advantage.
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
