Senior Level 2/3 IT Analyst providing escalation support and operational administration across a Microsoft-focused environment, covering Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Intune, networking and cyber security uplift.
We are seeking an experienced IT Analyst to join a collaborative technology team, providing senior Level 2/3 support and operational administration across a broad Microsoft-focused environment. You will act as an escalation point for the Service Desk while also contributing to technical projects, security uplift and continuous improvement initiatives. You'll enjoy getting to the root cause of technical issues, taking ownership through to resolution and proactively identifying opportunities to improve the environment rather than simply responding to tickets.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing Level 2/3 escalation support across server, endpoint, identity, access and security environments
- Administering and troubleshooting Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP
- Supporting Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Entra ID and Purview
- Managing the Windows SOE, device provisioning and endpoint lifecycle through Intune and Windows Autopilot
- Supporting network infrastructure including Cisco switching and Fortinet FortiGate/SD-WAN
- Monitoring infrastructure and responding to alerts, incidents and recurring technical issues
- Conducting root-cause analysis and implementing sustainable fixes to reduce repeat incidents
- Contributing to cyber security uplift, including Essential Eight initiatives, vulnerability remediation and server/endpoint hardening
- Supporting VMware and hybrid/cloud environments where required
- Working closely with vendors and external partners to resolve technical issues and deliver improvements
- Contributing to infrastructure projects, upgrades and remediation activities
- Maintaining technical documentation, infrastructure registers and knowledge-base articles
- Providing technical guidance and knowledge transfer to Service Desk team members
- Undertaking occasional hands-on infrastructure work and site visits as required
You will bring:
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server and Microsoft infrastructure
- Solid knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP
- Experience administering Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Exchange Online
- Hands-on experience with Intune, Autopilot and Windows endpoint management
- A strong cyber security mindset, ideally with exposure to vulnerability remediation, hardening or Essential Eight uplift
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capability
- The ability to work autonomously, prioritise competing demands and take ownership of technical issues
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with internal stakeholders, vendors and senior technical team members
- A current driver's licence
