IT Business Analyst (Autonomous Manufacturing)

Job Summary

This role blends IT Business Analysis skills to identify AI/ML and automation opportunities, design data-driven solutions, and deliver them from discovery through production and hyper care. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop business cases, design processes, and ensure quality, compliance, and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess and define business needs and improvement areas aligned with strategic goals by conducting research and proposing innovative solutions.
• Determine appropriate analysis approaches based on complexity, risk, assumptions, constraints, and dependencies, planning and managing activities to meet deadlines.
• Identify and engage stakeholders effectively, building relationships tailored to their needs and influence levels.
• Contribute to communication and change management plans to support project and stakeholder engagement.
• Manage requirements by ensuring traceability, testing, and validation; translate functional and technical requirements into design specifications including Functional Design, User Interface Design, and Business Process Design.
• Collaborate closely with global and local technology teams to ensure technical solutions deliver agreed business benefits.
• Support business case development by capturing investment justification, including ROI and benefits realization.
• Analyze and assess solution proposals, articulating reasoning related to business readiness and value optimization versus spend.
• Facilitate and co-lead project workshops with internal teams to plan and deliver key use case outcomes such as Asset Intelligence and Process Intelligence.
• Track and resolve open action items related to business analysis deliverables promptly.
• Develop and maintain Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM).
• Support As-Is and To-Be process analysis and contribute to integration technical design.
• Lead and contribute to risk impact assessments and review functional and design specifications.
• Lead creation of end-to-end UAT scenarios, test scripts, and test data in collaboration with business users.
• Drive project phase deliverables including Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), Business Impact Assessments (BIA), Threat Impact Assessments (TIA), and Requirements Impact Documents (RID).

Required competencies and certifications

• 5 to 8 years of experience applying business analysis tools and techniques to design and deliver business change.
• Experience working in regulated environments.
• Experience collaborating with third-party suppliers and vendors.
• Strong implementation experience and knowledge in Autonomous Manufacturing within Industry 4.0.
• Degree in a relevant discipline or formal certification in business analysis practice.
• Exposure to Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Experience working in a global organization.
• Awareness of pharmaceutical business and domain knowledge.
• Strong engagement, communication, facilitation, presentation, and influencing skills.
