As part of a significant digital transformation we have a fantastic opportunity for an IT Infrastructure Architect to join us on a six-month fixed term contract to lead the review of current infrastructure, assess new initiatives, and recommend target-state infrastructure improvements that deliver resilience, security, and scalability required for a large multi-site hospital environment.

Collaborating with senior stakeholders your expertise in the assessment, design & implementation of enterprise infrastructure and platform architecture will translate organisational priorities into clear technology roadmaps and investment plans, allowing our people to focus on what matters most - exceptional patient care.

Key accountabilities include:
• Align technology strategy and investment planning with business and clinical objectives.
• Establish & maintain governance, assess risk & formulate mitigation strategy
• Translate organisational requirements into technology solutions and service models
• Engage clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders to understand business needs and priorities
• Participate in vendor evaluation and RFP processes
• Manage vendor relationships and drive solution delivery

About you:
As our ideal candidate for this role you’ll bring significant Enterprise Infrastructure experience with proven leadership, project and change management skills, and:
• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Health Informatics, or a related field
• Relevant industry certifications e.g. Microsoft, ITIL, Citrix, Fortinet, Cisco etc.
• Strong knowledge of hybrid infrastructure, identity, security, and DR
• Experience in healthcare or highly regulated environments (preferred)
• Ability to develop practical roadmaps and influence senior stakeholders
