About The Role:
Network Tasman Limited is seeking an experienced, hands-on IT professional to lead its IT function as sole-charge IT Manager, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. This is a technically hands-on role responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of IT operations, including network infrastructure, mobile devices and business-critical systems, while driving key technology initiatives that support business growth and efficiency. You will oversee and drive IT projects from concept through delivery, contribute to a 5-year IT development plan, and act as the primary IT contact for staff across the business, providing helpdesk support, system administration and vendor management as required.
Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field, or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years' experience in an IT environment, including experience leading IT projects.
Strong technical understanding of IT systems, networking, security and enterprise applications.
Proven ability to deliver IT projects on time and within budget.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to plan and manage multiple projects effectively.
Strong awareness of IT risk and security management.
Personable and approachable, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Comfortable working independently in a sole-charge capacity, while collaborating with business leaders and external vendors.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a constantly changing environment, working across teams and across the business.
