IT PMO – Data Governance (for Banking Industry)

Key Responsibilities:
· Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules, RAID logs, action trackers, status reports, and remediation plans, ensuring timely follow-up, escalation, and closure of project deliverables and outstanding items.
· Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including Risk, Finance, Data Management teams, and external vendors, to manage dependencies, facilitate communication, and support there solution of project issues and risks.
· Support the planning, development, and maintenance of project scope, milestones, governance frameworks, delivery road maps, and project documentation in alignment with established project management methodologies and standards.
· Track and ensure compliance with PMO governance requirements, project management frameworks, reporting standards, and documentation controls, identifying gaps and driving corrective actions where necessary.
· Manage and maintain project repositories, governance artefacts, lessons learned, and knowledge management documentation to ensure information accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across project teams.
· Prepare and consolidate project status updates, management reports, meeting materials, and governance documentation to support effective project oversight and stakeholder decision-making.
· Coordinate project meetings, capture key decisions and action items, and follow through on deliverables to ensure successful project execution and governance adherence.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, Data Management, Engineering, or a related field.
· Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in project coordination, PMO, project management, governance, or transformation initiatives.
· Prior experience in BCBS239 related, or any other data governance, data management, regulatory driven projects
· Experience with data governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, or equivalent platforms
· Good understanding of project management methodologies and governance processes, including project planning, status reporting, RAID management, issue tracking, and change control.
· Experience in preparing project documentation, management reports, meeting minutes, governance materials, and stakeholder presentations.
· Experience supporting IT, regulatory, data governance, risk management, or transformation projects within the Banking or Financial Services industry.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and engage with stakeholders and clients at various levels.
· Strong organizational, coordination, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
· Previous experience gained within a consulting firm is highly preferred.
