Presales Engineer – Security Systems Integration

Overview

Lion-Inc is a full-scope security and technology systems integrator (CCTV, Access Control, SCADA/BMS, ITS/TMS, Fiber Optics, AI Analytics), serving major clients including Al Othaim, SAL, AICC, Qiddiya, and KOC. We're looking for a Presales Engineer to support the operations team in translating client technical requirements into deliverable, competitive solutions and proposals.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze technical specifications and RFPs/RFQs for new projects, assessing scope against the company's technical capabilities
• Develop solution designs in coordination with the engineering team across CCTV, Access Control, SCADA/BMS, and ITS systems
• Support BOQ preparation (Bill of Quantities) in close collaboration with the pricing team
• Attend client technical meetings and deliver technical presentations
• Prepare technical responses to tender/RFI/RFQ inquiries
• Track and evaluate vendor products and solutions (Hikvision, Trassir, Honeywell, etc.) for fit with upcoming projects
• Support Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) submissions for major projects (e.g., Qiddiya, Riyadh-based tenders)
• Coordinate with sales and operations teams across Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Communications, Electrical, or Computer) or equivalent
• 3–5 years of experience in Presales or Technical Sales within security/systems integration
• Working knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, and SCADA/BMS systems
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills for technical proposals and cost estimation support
• Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken)
• Strong communication skills with clients and internal teams
• Familiarity with Nitaqat/Saudization requirements is a plus for roles supporting government/semi-government projects

Preferred Additional Skills

• Prior experience with Hikvision, Trassir, or AI Analytics platforms
• Knowledge of technical cost estimation processes
• Experience with government or quasi-government sector projects in Saudi Arabia.
