IT QA Specialist
This is a remote position.
- Ensure proper prioritization of tasks is observed, and assignments are properly actioned and handled per MAG standards.
- Proactively contribute to providing strategies for work quality advancements.
- Collaborate with IT Devs to ensure testing and observation of solutions add value to end users.
- Ensure all fields in tasks have met the standard requirement of the team.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on complex system issues.
- Act as a Cross-Departmental Unblocker by managing tasks such as workflow automations.
- Create templates and initiatives to improve QA process efficiency across the organization.
- Coordinate and generate independent test cases for each newly developed application/system.
- Manage QA IT projects during each phase, ensuring all tasks are reviewed for quality assurance.
- Communicate and recommend improvements to the functionality, design, and usability of new systems/applications.
- Ensure all work projects are compliant with the company’s standards.
- Serve as the final line of defense to ensure IT solutions meet end users’ requests.
- Reports to the IT Team Lead / IT Manager.
- Expected to manage multiple tasks independently while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Opportunities to contribute across departments and help improve organizational processes.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in IT quality assurance and audit roles.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with No-Code/Low-Code platforms, such as Zapier, Google Workspace, JotForms, HubSpot, PandaDoc, and AirTable.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and API integration.
- Experience with Asana or similar project management tools for task and project tracking.
- Familiarity with software testing techniques, tools, and defect-tracking systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- A computer with dual monitor setup is required
- Computer with at least 8GB of RAM
- Must have at least 25 MBPS internet speed
- Camera with at least 1080p resolution
