Jr. DevOps Engineer
We are seeking a motivated Jr. DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a technical background with an interest in containerization technologies, and an understanding of cloud services, particularly AWS. We are looking for a hands-on professional who is passionate about automation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
What you’ll do:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development process
- Develop and manage containerization solutions using Docker and Kubernetes
- Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on VMWare or AWS infrastructure
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system operations
- Ensure security best practices are implemented across all stages of the development lifecycle
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of processes, configurations, and architecture
What you’ll need:
- 0-2 years of DevOps related experience (e.g.: containerization, CI/CD pipelines, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field
- Five (5) years of relevant experience can substitute for a bachelor’s degree
Bonus Points if you have:
- Certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, or similar container and orchestration technologies
- Strong expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance
