Junior Operations Manager for Retirement Savings Custody Account
The role manages transfers, allowance and bonus applications, tax processing, and edge cases for the retirement savings custody account while adhering to SLAs, KPIs, legal requirements, and internal guidelines. It also supports customer teams, develops subject-matter expertise, and improves workflows using AI, automation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Manage transfers, allowance processes, and bonus applications.
- Handle tax processing and edge cases under strict SLA and KPI compliance.
- Develop into the subject-matter expert for daily operational topics.
- Support customer teams with complex retirement provision questions.
- Optimize workflows using AI, automation tools, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ensure smooth operations and proactively address risks in compliance with regulations and internal guidelines.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of market rules and retirement provision products, especially Riester pensions.
- Knowledge of the legal framework and data exchange with the Zentrale Zulagenstelle für Altersvermögen (ZfA).
- Strong interest in using artificial intelligence and AI tools in daily work.
- Reliability, resilience, and diligent schedule management.
- Native-level German and business-fluent English, written and spoken.
- High initiative and strong teamwork skills.
- Several years of Riester pension and related operational experience preferred.
- Experience in data analysis, process optimization, visualization tools, SQL, Python, or workflow automation preferred.
- Practical experience with large language models or comparable AI solutions preferred.
