KYC & AML Analyst/Trainee Compliance
Verify and onboard investors and clients, review identification and address documents, perform facial identification and enhanced due diligence, process accounts, manage KYC support tickets, conduct conflicts searches, screen for PEPs, sanctions, and adverse media, escalate compliance issues, assist with risk assessments and audits, and maintain compliance training. The role is remote, requires a secured personal network and Apple Mac device, and is not open to applicants based in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Verify identification for individual and organisational accounts
- Verify proof of address and facial identification
- Verify net worth and certification documents
- Perform enhanced due diligence on documentation
- Process and approve investor and client accounts
- Communicate with investors, clients, and internal teams on KYC matters
- Manage and resolve KYC support tickets
- Conduct conflicts searches and advise on safeguards
- Escalate potential conflicts and complex AML issues
- Screen for PEPs, sanctions, and adverse media
- Monitor compliance notifications and ongoing account activity
- Assist with risk assessments, audits, and AML procedure monitoring
- Maintain compliance policies, procedures, and required training
Requirements
- Entry-level experience
- Good team player
- Very good verbal and written English communication skills
- Spanish or Filipino language skills desirable
- Understanding of money laundering frameworks and Customer Due Diligence
- Understanding of conflicts assessment and analysis
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proactive attitude and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage tasks efficiently and self-manage
- Integrity and discretion when handling confidential matters
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Working knowledge of Mac technology and common cloud tools
- Flexibility to work outside normal office hours
