The Work
The Business Architect Lead will drive the design and implementation of Pega‑based business architecture solutions, leading workflow optimization and business process reengineering (BPR) initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. This role collaborates closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into actionable specifications, and ensure strategic alignment across organizational objectives. The Business Architect Lead will facilitate workshops, guide best practices in Pega and BPM, monitor project progress, and partner with cross‑functional teams throughout the full delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of business architecture solutions using Pega
- Drive business process reengineering (BPR) initiatives to optimize workflows and improve operational efficiency
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
- Translate business needs into actionable functional specifications and technical requirements
- Ensure alignment of business architecture with organizational strategies and objectives
- Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and solution presentations with stakeholders
- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship on best practices in Pega, BPM, and business process modeling
- Monitor project progress and identify risks, issues, or dependencies related to business architecture
- Partner with cross‑functional teams throughout design, development, testing, and deployment phases
Here’s What You Need:

- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 7+ years of professional experience
- Strong background in business architecture, process modeling, and workflow optimization
- Hands‑on experience with Pega in business architecture or BPM contexts
- Proven ability to lead requirements‑gathering activities and translate needs into specifications
- Experience driving process improvement initiatives and BPR efforts
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Experience managing complex, multi‑stakeholder environments
Bonus Points If:
- Experience with Pega business architecture frameworks or workflow automation modules
- Familiarity with requirements management and process mapping tools
- Experience leading cross‑functional teams in dynamic environments
- Change management or organizational design experience
- Pega certifications (BA, Business Architect, or related credentials)
- Skills in Pega Directly Capture Objectives (DCO) and Business Process Design

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
