Lead Security Engineering & Compliance

Join MarqVision as its first security team member and lead the development and operation of the organization's security framework across governance, compliance, AWS cloud security, security operations, automation, AI, and global B2B customer security.

Responsibilities

• Operate and improve SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and security privacy frameworks.
• Conduct security risk assessments and support audit responses.
• Establish security policies, standards, and technical security baselines.
• Manage security controls and related evidence.
• Design and operate AWS cloud security architecture and controls.
• Improve IAM, network security, WAF, encryption, logging, and monitoring.
• Manage cloud security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Operate EDR and respond to security events.
• Design and implement automation for repetitive security operations.
• Use AI and security agents in security operations.
• Analyze global B2B customer security requirements and lead communications.
• Respond to customer security questionnaires.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of information security or cybersecurity experience.
• Hands-on AWS cloud security experience.
• Experience operating SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar compliance programs.
• Experience with GDPR or privacy-related work.
• Understanding of IAM, network security, WAF, encryption, logging, EDR, and related technologies.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering teams to solve security problems technically.
• English communication and collaboration skills.
• Startup experience preferred.
• SaaS or B2B information security experience preferred.
• SIEM or EDR operations experience preferred.
• Security automation or AI, LLM, or agent experience preferred.
