Lightning Developer Evangelist
This role focuses on growing and connecting with the global Lightning developer community, creating projects, organizing community opportunities, gathering feedback, sourcing potential customers, and supporting existing customers with technical and business-related questions.
Responsibilities
- Embed yourself in the global Lightning developer community
- Attract new developers to the Lightning Network by creating projects and highlighting community work
- Organize developer and community calls to communicate updates and gather feedback
- Source new potential customers among developers and technical teams
- Support existing customers as a point of contact for issues and new features
- Connect developers with ecosystem participants to help them achieve their business goals
Requirements
- Passion for bitcoin, Lightning, and the mission of bringing financial freedom to the world
- Proactive and creative problem solver with a focus on solving real problems for real people
- Excellent communicator both externally and internally
- Enthusiastic about trying new things and energized by creative challenges
- Track record of open source contributions or public application development (preferred)
- Experience presenting developer-focused content at conferences or meetups (preferred)
