Job Description
- Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Ensure effective space utilization and manage warehouse layout to improve efficiency.
- Implement and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and managing stock movements.
- Monitor stock levels, coordinate replenishment, and reduce stockouts or excess inventory.
- Manage transportation logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to retail locations.
- Coordinate with third-party carriers, negotiate freight contracts, and optimize delivery routes.
Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in logistics management, preferably in retail or supermarket operations.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, transportation management, and inventory control.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management software.
