Low Voltage Component Design & Release Engineer

Summary

Designs, integrates, validates, and releases low-voltage electrical modules (vehicle control units, body control modules, telematics, ADAS units, gateways) for Workhorse vehicle platforms, managing supplier activities through the full automotive component lifecycle from requirements definition to production launch.

The Low-Voltage Component Design Release Engineer (DRE) is responsible for the development, integration, validation, and production release of multiple electrical and electronic modules. Components may include vehicle control units, body control modules, digital displays, instrument clusters, telematics modules, ADAS integration units, gateways, and other low-voltage electronic devices used within Workhorse vehicle platforms.

The DRE will manage assigned components throughout the complete automotive development lifecycle, from requirements definition and supplier sourcing through software and hardware integration, validation, production launch, and field support.
