Manager, Carbon Neutral Transformation & Energy
Lead and support projects under the Carbon Neutral Transformation Department (CNX), focusing on decarbonization strategies, green fuel supply chains, and regional collaboration to achieve Idemitsu’s goal of carbon neutrality by 2050.
Job Description
- Drive feasibility studies and business development for Carbon Neutral Transformation (CNX) projects in Singapore and Asia (e.g., Biofuel, Bio feedstock, SAF, Green Methanol, Ammonia supply chains).
- Coordinate with the Company’s trading arm for trading opportunities.
- Support investment evaluations and partnership negotiations for energy transition initiatives.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on progress and market intelligence.
- Liaise with Idemitsu group companies in Japan and Asia-Pacific, and with external counterparties, on day-to-day projectmatters.
- Such other duties as the Company may assignor vest in you from time to time.
Requirements
- Around 5 years of working experience in the energy, petroleum or chemicals industry.
- Strong understanding of maritime, aviation sector and low carbon business and policy, regulation.
- Proven ability to manage cross-border projects and engage with government and industry stakeholders.
- Relevant University Degree
- Fluencyin Japanese and English is required (ability to handle documents in Japanese and English and communicate daily with colleagues and stakeholders at headquarters).
