Manager Financial Institution Partnership
Identify and develop partnerships with financial institutions and payment ecosystem participants. Build stakeholder relationships, prepare and negotiate proposals, coordinate partner onboarding and integrations, analyze markets and regulation, monitor performance and P&L contribution, and support partners throughout the relationship.
Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect end-to-end business partnerships with financial institutions and payment ecosystem participants.
- Build and maintain relationships with partner stakeholders and decision-makers, particularly across APAC markets.
- Develop strategic partnership proposals and negotiate partnership agreements.
- Coordinate partner onboarding and technical integration.
- Conduct market research and regulatory analysis.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
- Support partners and resolve partnership-related issues.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders, group entities, external partners, and vendors.
- Assess partnership opportunities under HKMA procedures and guidelines.
- Monitor and report partner performance and P&L contribution.
Requirements
- University degree; relevant Business Administration qualifications preferred.
- Solid relevant experience in financial services, payments, or fintech with overseas-market exposure.
- Experience developing and integrating products with financial institutions.
- Existing and new relationship development within the payments ecosystem.
- Deep experience and understanding of payments and Web3.0.
- Cryptocurrency on- and off-ramp experience in APAC is advantageous.
- Understanding of stablecoin regulation, utility, and ecosystem.
- Track record commercializing and operationalizing innovative business models or solutions.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with experience influencing senior stakeholders.
- Results-oriented, self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced startup-like environment.
- Fluent English and Mandarin; Cantonese proficiency is a plus.
