Job Description

The Manager of IS Project Management and Professional Services will be responsible for leading and overseeing the delivery of complex projects within the organization. The manager will lead the project management and professional services team while setting clear goals and objectives for team members. This position will develop and implement project management strategies, processes, and best practices while identifying and securing project resources. The manager will provide guidance and support to project managers and team members. Areas of responsibility include: providing leadership and mentorship to the project management and professional services team; ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the desired level of quality; and communicating project updates and progress to relevant parties, including all stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or relevant area of study is required.

Experience

5 years of experience managing/leading large projects is required.

Certification & Licensure

PMP certification is required.

Qualifications

Exceptional written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time, priorities, and resources across multiple initiatives.

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

Proven leadership experience managing teams and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Expertise in developing, maintaining, and managing comprehensive project plans, schedules, and dependencies.

Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

Deep understanding of project management methodologies, frameworks, governance, and best practices.

Ability to make sound, data-driven decisions and provide strategic recommendations.

Adaptability and resilience in managing changing priorities, organizational needs, and project risks.

Proficiency with project portfolio management (PPM), project management, collaboration, and reporting tools.
