PURPOSE:
Be responsible for providing professional legal advice / consultancy to support the growth of FWD business in Vietnam.
Oversee and manage litigation, dispute resolution, and enforcement matters to protect the Company's legal interests and mitigate legal risks.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Corporate legal matters: Work closely with functional departments to deliver legal advices / consultancy and supports
- Review, draft, negotiate and finalize contracts with distribution partners (bank partners/ corporate agents/ distribution partners) and suppliers;
- Keep other stakeholders updated with new law/regulations, assess legal risks and coordinate for impact assessment with other departments;
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance corporate governance practices;
- Ensure the lawful rights/ interests of the Company is well protected in accordance with the current applicable regulations during the litigation process and keep the management updated of litigation cases;
- Support Line Manager on daily matters and Group Legal on matters assigned;
- Provide legal trainings to: (i) legal staffs and (ii) all staff concerned on topics as business required from time to time;
- Give legal advice on all of company’ projects and initiatives;
- Other tasks assigned by Line Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- LL.B.
- At least 7-10 years of experience in legal department of a MNC or a law firm.
- In-depth legal knowledge in digital commerce is advantage.
- Experience in insurance services is advantages.
KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Good English (writing and speaking)
- Good knowledge of Vietnam legal system
- Good communication skill
- Good analytical and business writing skills
- Computer proficiency
- Active, teamwork
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
