Manager, Loans & Credit Operations
A reputable local Bank in Hong Kong with a well-established Branch Network is looking for a high-calibre Manager, responsible for supervising and monitoring the operations of Loan Disbursement and Loan Maintenance Sections, and ensuring the tasks handled are performed timely and accurately as well as liaising with other sections or departments to handle cross-sectional, departmental and/or bank-wide work process or projects.
Responsibilities:
- Check and approve the daily processing on loan booking, payment and maintenance for the loan products handled by the Sections
- Review account reconciliation and ensure timely rectification on exceptions
- Report exceptions and complaint cases to Department Head and follow up rectification
- Review and refine operation procedures and workflow for strengthening control and streamlining purposes
- Supervise subordinates to act according to guidelines and procedures
- Train and coach subordinates to become all-rounded staff
- Provide quality services to both internal and external customers within pre-set standard turnaround time
- Coordinate and participate in special system related projects
- Keep the operation manual current and update / ensure strict compliance
- Act as back-up staff for cross team section heads
Requirements:
- University graduate major in Banking or Finance preferred
- At least 8 years banking experience in loans operations / credit administration, in which, at least 4 years at supervisory level; experience in project management is a plus
- Good knowledge in banking products and basic accounting principles Able to work independent and under pressure
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with analytical mind
- Candidate with more experiences will be considered for Senior Manager position
