Job Description
Job Purpose
To provide managerial support to a range of international programmes under the Student Affairs team as well as other student support services.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Manage day-to-day operations of Student Exchange programme (SEP) and Exchange Plus programme which include processes for incoming and outgoing student applications, selection, enrolment, course registration and credit transfer.
· Assist in processing summer programme applications, selections and offer.
· Provide advice and monitor students going on NUS Overseas College programme.
· Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as well as overseas partner universities on SEP/Exchange Plus programme matters such as places, credit requirements and ensuring students meet necessary academic requirements.
· Manage course registration of incoming students and relevant processes.
· Organise Welcome and Farewell student events, briefings etc.
· Monitor and ensure timely processing of course mappings, credit transfer for students on exchange for graduation purpose as well as implications on Part B enrolment.
· Monitor and administer student exchange agreement renewals as well as assist in new programme development.
· Provide timely administrative support and advice to incoming and outgoing exchange students on all related overseas programme matters.
· Maintain and update records, data and statistics.
· Ensure website updates for various programmes and schemes.
· Provide assistance to the team in other areas of student support services.
Qualifications
Requirements
· Degree holder with minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience preferably within a tertiary educational institution. Familiarity in international programmes and/or academic administration will have added advantage.
· Strong in administration, meticulous, analytical and good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines as well as engage with multiple stakeholders.
· Motivated, able to work independently and as a team.
· Student centric, positive attitude, professional and a pleasant disposition.
· Excellent interpersonal, communications (written and verbal) and service skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; comfortable working with data and digital systems, including website content management using WordPress.
