The Role
Graduate/Junior - You will step straight into core 3D modelling and drafting tasks. You will focus on execution, discipline-specific modelling within AVEVA, and producing high-quality construction drawings under guidance.
Structural & Outfitting: Model structural components, equipment, and outfitting items in AVEVA; extract Outfitting General Arrangement drawings, plot plans, and key plans.
Piping: Extract piping layouts, Piping General Arrangements, isometric drawings with Material Take-Off (MTO), line lists, and pipe support drawings.
Electrical & Instrumentation: Perform 3D modelling of electrical equipment, cable trays/ladders, supports, and instrumentation; draft 2D electrical deliverables (lighting layouts, wiring diagrams, MCT layouts).
- Quality & Coordination: Assist with clash detection, data consistency checks, and prepare 2D structural drawings, bending templates, and nesting lists.
Senior - Act as a technical lead and coordination backbone. You will take ownership of multi-discipline design integration, client communications, AVEVA environment administration, and team supervision.
Team Leadership & Administration: Supervise the design team to ensure deliverables meet schedule and quality standards; administer the 3D AVEVA Marine software environment; review and comment on engineering documents.
Client & Stakeholder Management: Lead client meetings, align on project requirements, provide design updates, and maintain clear communication across the project lifecycle.
Multi-Discipline Coordination: Drive cross-discipline coordination, identify and resolve complex interferences in AVEVA, and verify piping/discipline documents against shipyard payment milestones.
Strategic Support: Lead special projects and technical assignments as directed by Management.
