Marketing Analyst (Mobile Acquisition)

Summary

Marketing Analyst on the mobile User Acquisition team turning raw acquisition data into decisions for a portfolio of high-load social networking and streaming apps. Core work involves SQL/BigQuery, Python (Pandas), and Tableau to build dashboards, analyze campaign performance, traffic quality, and ROI.

We are looking for a Marketing Analyst (Mobile Acquisition). In this role, you will own the signal layer that our mobile acquisition runs on: making sure every network gets the right post-install events, every algorithm optimizes toward the right value, and every dollar of spend is measured correctly in AppsFlyer. You will dig deep into attribution mechanics, campaign performance, and traffic quality across our portfolio of high-load social networking and streaming apps, catch measurement gaps before they hit spend, and turn cohort economics into recommendations the User Acquisition team can act on immediately.

About the company: We are a global IT product company shaping the future of real-time social connection. We have millions of users across North America, Europe, Latin America, and MENA, and we build next-gen mobile and web apps for the live-streaming and social networking niches. The market will exceed $206 billion by 2030, and we are already among the leaders in the industry. Founded in Ukraine, scaling worldwide.

In this role you will
Own post-install signal delivery end to end: event mapping per network, postback configuration in AppsFlyer, and the diagnostics that prove each network is actually receiving what we think it is
Own what we optimize toward: which post-install event feeds each algorithm, value-based / tROAS bidding, event taxonomy and lookback windows, predicted-LTV signals
Work across platform specifics: Google Ads app campaigns and in-app conversion imports, Meta app events via MMP and value optimization, TikTok/Snapchat event mapping and parity, Moloco and Mintegral S2S event feeds and AppsFlyer postbacks
Build monitoring and alerts for event errors, latency, postback coverage, attribution gaps and MMP-vs-network discrepancies
Investigate install/event drops and assess the measurement impact of app releases and SDK updates before they hit spend
Own attribution correctness in AppsFlyer: self-attributing network reconciliation, reattribution and reinstall logic
Own campaign naming conventions and event/parameter structure so network, geo, OS, campaign type and creative parse cleanly into reporting
Analyze campaign performance and traffic quality by network, campaign, creative, geo and placement, including cohort retention, ARPU, ad revenue, payback and LTV per install
Find growth points in CAC, ROAS and payback and turn them into recommendations the UA team can act on
Test optimization hypotheses with UA: bidding strategy, which event to optimize for, conversion value definitions
Build automated Tableau dashboards and ad-hoc reports on cohort economics, event delivery and funnel metrics
Build and maintain custom marketing datasets in BigQuery on top of AppsFlyer and network data

It's all about you
3+ years of experience in marketing / UA analytics, with hands-on ownership of app acquisition data, not reporting only
Confident SQL in BigQuery
Solid grasp of statistics: cohorts, sample size, telling a real difference from noise
Python (Pandas) for analysis and automation: data validation, event uploads, recurring pipelines
Hands-on Tableau, from data model to dashboards the team uses daily
Hands-on AppsFlyer beyond the dashboard: event and postback setup, integrated partner configs, raw-data exports
Understanding of mobile attribution and performance marketing: why AppsFlyer, network and internal numbers disagree, self-attributing networks, reattribution and reinstalls, attribution windows
Understanding of how post-install events feed network algorithms, or clear motivation to own this
Awareness of traffic quality and install fraud on in-app networks
Experience working with User Acquisition teams and supporting data-driven decisions
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Ability to identify root causes of changes, not just describe the numbers
Ability to build and defend clear business conclusions and recommendations
Proactive mindset and strong communication skills
Would be a plus
A/B testing experience
Familiarity with AI tools like Claude in your analytical workflow
