Marketing Manager
To define overall marketing strategy and plans of Al Tayer Motors brands
Ensuring synergy, consistency and quality in marketing approach and fulfillment of company objectives.
Strategic roles and responsibilities
- Prepare the annual marketing budget for ATM and ensure effective and efficient utilization of the marketing budget for the division.
- Define the macro level marketing strategy and facilitate the formulation of strategies for marketing and overall brand management activities for ATM, ensuring results are directly related to the overall business plan of ATM.
Functional roles and responsibilities
- Monitor the implementation of approved marketing plans working with and through the appropriate units within the Customer Experience and Marketing department and in close collaboration with Brand GM.
- Collaborate with Events Management team for planning and execution of events as necessary.
- Review identified opportunities to enhance and build stronger brand equity for all brands represented.
- Monitor overall brand performance within each business unit and work closely with brand/sales managers to ensure that the overall brand performance and image is consistent and in line with company and principal expectations.
- Ensure that brand guidelines are adhered to as required by the company and principals.
- Review brand performance reports (Key Business Indicators) and prepare quality analyses to facilitate better sales and to aid decision-making by top management.
- Obtain market information from mystery shopping and various research activities to keep abreast of competitors’ activities.
- Maintain effective working relations and contacts with principals, key external parties, local and overseas, and remain abreast of new developments and approaches relevant to ATM.
Qualification & experience
- Master’s degree in the field of marketing.
- Preferably membership in leading marketing organizations such as American Marketing Association or equivalent.
- Minimum five to eight years of experience, with at least five years in a senior management role.
- Relevant work experience with/for brand conscious organizations preferably in the luxury or automotive sector.
