Medical Assistant - Mobile Hearing Lab (Travel Required to Northern Michigan Region)
A Day in the Life
- As a Medical Assistant in our Mobile Hearing Lab, you will complete clinical and administrative tasks within the Mobile Hearing Lab.
You will be solely responsible for the Mobile Hearing clinic. You will oversee all marketing, processing results, onsite testing across Northern Michigan in a company provided truck. You will also fill in for Occupational Health clinics across the region.
You will assist with day-to-day operations as required for optimal patient care which can include assisting fellow teammates and providers when necessary.
What’s Required
CREDENTIALED MEDICAL ASSISTANT
- High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferred
- Credentialed as a Medical Assistant from an approved Munson Healthcare Credentialing Organization.
- BLS certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained.
- Chauffer License Required
NON-CREDENTIALED MEDICAL ASSISTANT
- High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferred
- One year (1) relevant experience working in a physician practice or similar healthcare setting in a provider/patient support or Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program approved by Munson healthcare.
- BLS certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained.
- Chauffer License Required
