Member of Technical Staff

This highly technical, hands-on role applies generative AI, large language models, AI agents, and foundation models to financial technology. The role bridges advanced AI research and scalable production applications, contributes to AI strategy and safe innovation, solves complex engineering challenges, mentors colleagues, and engages with the broader AI community.

Responsibilities

• Drive the execution of Adyen's AI strategy.
• Apply Generative AI and other AI methodologies in finance.
• Implement research papers into production-ready code.
• Contribute to AI strategy and safe innovation.
• Solve technical challenges across engineering teams.
• Mentor colleagues and share engineering practices.
• Pair with engineering teams on technical problems.
• Engage with the AI research community.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Generative AI and large language models.
• Awareness of current AI research advancements.
• Experience writing clean, efficient, scalable production code.
• Experience implementing AI research papers in production.
• Ability to solve complex cross-team problems.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Experience with relationship building, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
