About the opportunity

The role
  • Design, develop and maintain full stack features across a national health data platform
  • Deliver new functionality, enhancements and bug fixes aligned to product priorities
  • Build and maintain APIs and backend services, and contribute to data pipelines and ETL/reporting tooling
  • Take part in code reviews, automated testing and ongoing performance optimisation
  • Contribute to security, privacy and data protection controls fitting a regulated health/data environment
What you'll bring
  • 8+ years' software development experience, mostly Backend focused
  • Proven ability to work independently and contribute to solution design
  • Track record delivering and maintaining production-grade software
  • Strong grounding in agile delivery and the full software development lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience with C# or VB.NET, ASP.NET/.NET Core and SQL Server based databases
  • Any experience with Blazor would be a huge advantage.

  • Work closely with the Product Owner, testers, BI specialists and Infrastructure/DevOps teams in an agile environment (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
  • Autonomy to work independently while contributing to a small, focused Backend team
  • Self starter, you can just get on with it without waiting for instructions

  • Hybrid working arrangement (1-2 days per week onsite - Wednesday is anchor day.
