Mid Web3 Backend Developer

Join an agile team delivering the full lifecycle of web3 software solutions, from requirements and architecture through design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. You will build efficient, secure, scalable, and maintainable backend systems, maintain system documentation, review requirements, propose solutions, support operations, and collaborate with architects, frontend developers, designers, and product managers.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full software delivery lifecycle, including requirements, architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, efficient backend code.
• Apply best practices for performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Update and maintain system design documents.
• Review functional and technical requirements and provide feedback.
• Define and propose solutions to meet requirements.
• Work with technical architects to ensure system designs follow industry best practices.
• Provide operational support expertise.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a web3 backend developer or relevant Web 3.0 exposure.
• Proficiency in backend technologies such as Node.js, Nest.js, and Solidity.
• Deep understanding of blockchain interactions, smart contract integrations, and decentralized data storage.
• Familiarity with Web3 middleware platforms and tools.
• Knowledge of decentralized identity, on-chain data querying, and off-chain integration techniques.
• In-depth knowledge of DeFi protocols, oracle services, and layer-2 scaling solutions.
• Understanding of cryptographic principles and web3-specific security practices.
• Ability to collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product managers.
• Continual learning attitude and awareness of emerging web3 trends and best practices.
• Residence in the European Union.
