Middle DevOps Engineer
Summary
A Middle DevOps Engineer designing and maintaining AWS-based cloud infrastructure (ECS, Lambda, S3, Bedrock), CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes workloads, and infrastructure-as-code with Terraform/Ansible.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a robust and scalable infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud services, and optimizing our software development and deployment processes. The ideal candidate has a strong background in core IT technologies, cloud services, and automation, and possesses excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of development experience (preferably Golang, Python, JavaScript) — must have;
- 3+ years of experience with Ubuntu-like Linux;
- Experience with Docker or other container-based technologies;
- Experience with Kubernetes;
- 2+ years of experience running production systems in Amazon AWS and services like ECS, S3, RDS, ELB, SQS, and Lambda ;
- Experience working with AWS Bedrock
- Networking skills: TCP/IP, DNS, load balancers, PKI (TLS), network security, etc;
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, etc;
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL technologies such as MySQL, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis;
- Experience with monitoring tools and metrics;
- Experience with version control systems: GitLab, GitHub;
- Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet;
- AWS Associate Solution Architect certification required;
- English: Upper-Intermediate;
Would be a plus:
- Experience with Azure or GCP would be a plus.
- AWS Associate/Professional/Specialty certifications;
- Experience with serverless architectures;
- Familiarity with SRE practices and incident response.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS);
- Build, improve, and support CI/CD pipelines;
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (or ECS);
- Ensure system reliability, monitoring, alerting, and incident response;
- Implement Infrastructure as Code and configuration management;
- Maintain security best practices, access control, and backups;
- Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis in production;
- Collaborate with developers and QA to improve delivery pipelines;
- Participate in cost optimization and infrastructure improvements;
- Maintain clear technical documentation.
