Mobile Automotive Service Technician

We are seeking a Mobile Automotive Service Technician to join our team! In this role, you will perform on-site vehicle diagnostics and repairs at customers' homes, businesses, or other locations. The ideal candidate is a skilled and experienced technician who enjoys working independently while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer locations to inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on various automotive systems, including:
    • Engine
    • Transmission
    • Electrical & electronics
    • Brakes & suspension
    • Steering & drivability
    • HVAC & cooling systems
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and special service equipment to troubleshoot issues
  • Communicate with the Service Advisor to update customers about additional service needs and estimated repair times
    • Must be able to perform video multi-point inspections and present them to the Service Advisor and/or customer
  • Maintain accurate records of service and warranty repairs per manufacturer standards
  • Ensure the service vehicle is stocked, maintained, and organized

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience as an Automotive Service Technician
  • Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
  • Excellent communication & customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently in a mobile setting
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Comfortable operating electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to adapt to new technology & repair procedures
  • Maintain a professional and organized service vehicle
