POSITION SUMMARY:

The Municipal Banking Business Development Associate supports the growth and retention of the Bank’s municipal and public-sector banking relationships throughout New York State. This position is responsible for identifying prospective municipal clients, developing relationships with public officials and community stakeholders, coordinating proposals and presentations, and supporting the delivery of deposit products and services, cash-management, and other banking solutions.

The Associate serves as a visible representative of the Bank within the communities it serves and requires a strong understanding of relationship-based banking, public-sector financial needs, and the regulatory and procedural requirements associated with municipal banking.
