Named Account Manager, Enterprise
As an Account Manager on Plaid's Enterprise team, you will own and grow relationships with some of the company's largest and most strategic customers. You will serve as a trusted advisor, commercial partner, and cross-functional leader while partnering with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Support to deliver customer outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of 10-15 large enterprise customers.
- Build trusted relationships with executive sponsors, decision-makers, influencers, and operators.
- Drive customer adoption, engagement, retention, and growth.
- Lead renewals, expansions, strategic partnership discussions, and account planning.
- Identify and execute growth opportunities with Account Executives and cross-functional teams.
- Act as a strategic consultant by delivering industry insights, product guidance, and data-driven recommendations.
- Lead business reviews, operational checkpoints, product launches, and technical escalations.
- Develop account strategies balancing short-term execution with long-term growth.
- Partner with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product, Engineering, Support, and Legal.
- Advocate for customers internally and influence product direction.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a client-facing commercial role such as Account Management, Strategic Partnerships, Consulting, or Business Development.
- Demonstrated success managing and growing enterprise customer relationships.
- Previous B2B technology experience is a strong plus.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience driving renewals, expansions, and strategic customer outcomes.
- Ability to navigate complex organizations and influence executive stakeholders.
- Cross-functional collaboration experience with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Support.
- Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to learn technical concepts and understand complex product ecosystems.
- High ownership, curiosity, adaptability, and customer empathy.
- Preferred experience with B2B technology, fintech, API infrastructure, payments, or financial services products.
