New Business Development and Service Planning Financial Platform Development
Lead new business development and service planning for PayPay’s financial platform, creating consumer and merchant services and building models using payment and financial expertise. The role involves collaborating with group banks, defining requirements, managing contracts and cross-functional projects, and driving service improvements.
Responsibilities
- Plan and promote consumer-facing and business-facing PayPay services.
- Design and build service models using payment law, prepaid payment instruments, payment agency, remittance agency, and emerging-technology knowledge.
- Coordinate collaboration with group banks.
- Define business requirements and manage contract administration.
- Manage cross-functional projects with legal, compliance, risk, engineering, and operations stakeholders.
- Plan and build service improvements for growth.
Requirements
- Experience in business development, service planning, project management, or business and sales promotion.
- Practical experience with fund transfer, prepaid payment instruments, wallet, or credit card issuing services.
- Experience in a fast-moving organization such as a startup, venture company, or consulting firm.
- Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strength in problem solving, resilience and speed, communication, cross-functional execution, or project management.
- Strong interest in emerging technologies is preferred.
- Experience launching a new business is preferred.
- Knowledge of payment and financial business laws and regulations is preferred.
- Business English ability with a TOEIC score of 800 or higher is preferred.
