- Promotes customer satisfaction using the Listen, Apologize, Solve, and Thank (LAST) model to address concerns.
- Maintains and promotes complete confidentiality, privacy, and dignity of customers.
- Demonstrates positive collaborative behaviors with members of the health care team.
- Considers customer needs in relation to changing department needs.
- Supports staff growth and maximization of talents at each level of career development.
- Assesses the educational structure for staff, integrating evidence-based practice, trends, and technologies in patient care, accreditation, and safety standards. Plans, participates, facilitates, and evaluates the delivery of educational programs.
- Serves as a clinical resource for staff members, physicians, and other health care providers.
- elects, trains, evaluates, and collaborates with preceptors and trainers.
- Monitors mandatory education and unit-specific educational requirements.
- Facilitates new employee orientation and development.
- Collaborates with other educators, administrators, unit managers, clinical specialists, and staff to maximize cost-effective educational programming.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
